Double D Lawn Care and Snow Removal looks after the outside of Tri-Cities properties all year —
mowing, trimming and landscaping through the green season, plowing, shovelling and salt through
the white one.
Two numbers that each stop working for six months.
That is how most Michigan properties end up: a mowing company who vanishes in October and a
plow guy you have to find again every November, neither of whom has ever seen the yard in the
other half of the year.
It matters more than it sounds. The person who plowed your drive in February
knows where the beds are, which side the wall is on, and what happens to the grass edge if the
snow gets pushed there. In April, that is the difference between a lawn that comes back and a
strip of mud along the driveway.
April to November
The green half of the year
A rotation you can plan around rather than a visit whenever someone remembers. Mowing,
string-trimming and edging through the growing season, with the spring and fall clean-ups
at either end and the mulch, beds and planting through the middle.
Cut on a cycle, with the drive and walks blown off before we leave
Beds edged, mulched and kept weeded rather than done once in April
Patios, walkways and retaining walls booked in around the weekly work
December to March
The white half of the year
Driveways plowed back to their real edges, walks and steps shovelled by hand where a blade
cannot reach, and salt on the surfaces that actually need it rather than everywhere as a
matter of course.
The property is already on the route before the first storm arrives
Hand work where machines cannot go — steps, paths, the strip by the mailbox
The same 989 number you rang about the grass in July
How it goes
Three steps, and the first one is a phone call.
No account to make, no form you have to fill in before anyone will talk to you. Ring the
number, say where you are and what needs doing.
1
Call and tell us the address
What you want done, how big the property is, and whether it is the mowing, the snow, or both.
2
We come and look at it
A yard is hard to price down the phone. We walk it, then give you a number for the work you asked about.
3
You go on the schedule
Mowing through the green months, snow through the white ones, on the same arrangement. Change it whenever you need to.
Straight answers
What we take on — and what we will tell you we do not.
We would rather say no on the phone than take a job on and do it badly. If something is
outside what we do, or outside where we can get to, you will hear that in the first
conversation rather than after two weeks of waiting on a quote.
We do: lawn care, clean-ups, mulch and beds, planting, patios and walkways, retaining walls, fire pits and seat walls, snow plowing, shovelling and salting.
Where: Saginaw, Bay City and Midland, and the roads between them. Outside the three, ring and ask.
Who for: residential properties and small commercial ones.
